Had a wonderful few days break at this gorgeous cottage .
Everything was of the highest quality, beds and bedding were heavenly ..
Spotlessly clean and comfortable .
Outside was perfect for our dog who had so much space to explore and we were able to relax as all fences and gates were so safe and secure.
We can’t recommend this place highly enough …

Had a wonderful stay (20th-27th September).

The Old Piggery has been renovated into a lovely, clean and modern accommodation with the cosiest beds and a shower to die for!!

Kitchen has all the mod cons for the perfect stay with the most invorating shower to wake you up in the morning and the cosiest most inviting bed(s). Haven't slept as well for years and it was no wonder I had a lie in most mornings.

Situated in a quite setting around two miles from Bradworthy but with easy access back to Holsworthy or beyond to Bideford and some of the listed local attractions it was perfect for that much needed 'get away from it all' break.

Best of all was seeing our Berner Boy Kayembe run around and frolic to his hearts content in the huge garden and to a slightly 'slower' and lesser extent in the adajent field (I think it was me that was slowest!!).

Would defintely recommend the Old Piggery to anyone wanting an away from it all break with their pet(s) and will be looking at availability for ourselves for next years holiday.

The old piggery is a beautiful converted building set in the grounds of the owners property. It has beams and a wood burner and is very clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable and has both a good power shower and free standing bath.The property is in a quiet a location and has a very nice out side space with covered area table chairs and barbecue and secure parking. There is a large grassy area next to seating that is dog proofed so excellent facilities for dog owners. There is a local pub 2miles in next village that serves tasty food at reasonable prices. The area is convenient for visits to many seaside resorts a short drive away. The owners kept in touch with check in instructions and left a lovely welcome pack. Really recommend this property.

We stayed here for a week. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. The kitchen was well stocked and a lovely extra was having a welcome pack for us and the dogs, along with a thoughtful cake for our anniversary. The living room has a large corner sofa, tv and wireless speaker. The two bedrooms are large with nice sized furniture and the beds were so so comfortable. The bathroom was amazing with the loveliest deep,free standing bath (wish I could have taken it home with me :-) ) the shower was powerful. Outside is just as amazing with a garden, patio area (undercover with lights) a small orchard and two large fields which the dogs really enjoyed. The area is very quiet and remote which we liked the only thing you’ll hear is sheep and cows in the distance. A lovely place to stay 10/10

Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay! You guys have such a lovely place and its so peaceful and quiet! Both of our dogs had the best time!! And so did we. I love all the little details and the thought thats gone into things for us and the dogs to have the best holiday.

Thank you Charlotte & Tom for a wonderful week stay in a beautiful quiet location. The cottage has everything you need and more, the beds are super comfortable and the shower was great with all the toiletries provided. The welcome tray was ideal including things for dogs staying, made to feel very dog friendly and at ease. Everything is provided for dogs from bowls to towels and shampoo and even a dog paddling pool.
We have never seen Buddy so tired out on holiday exploring the garden, orchard and 2.5 acre field. Great location to explore North Devon and Cornwall and we will be recommending to friends especially with those that have dogs. We look forward to coming back soon. Emma, Mark, Ossie & Buddy.
